Terms of Service

By accessing or using FlowDash ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

FlowDash is an AI-powered personal finance dashboard built on the Barefoot Investor framework by Scott Pape. The Service allows you to:

• Track income and allocate it across Barefoot Investor budget buckets
• Add and manage recurring bills of any frequency
• Upload bank statements for AI-powered SWOT analysis
• Optionally connect Gmail or Outlook to automatically detect bills

FlowDash is a personal finance tool only. It does not provide financial advice, and nothing in the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product.

To use FlowDash you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at teeninetyeight@gmail.com

You must be at least 18 years old to use FlowDash. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Free access:

FlowDash offers a free tier allowing you to explore the core features before upgrading. Free access may be subject to usage limits at our discretion.

Monthly subscription ($10/month):

Monthly plans are billed on a recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from the Settings page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for unused time in a billing period.

Lifetime access ($149.99 once):

Lifetime plans are a one-time payment granting permanent access to all features, including future features added to the Service. Lifetime access is non-transferable and tied to your account.

Payments:

Payments are processed by Stripe. FlowDash does not store your payment card details. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.

Refunds:

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing the Service, contact us within 7 days at teeninetyeight@gmail.com and we will assess your case. Refunds are issued at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service in a way that could harm its performance
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity in connection with the Service

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into FlowDash. By using the Service you grant FlowDash a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely to provide the features of the Service.

If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may suspend or modify the Service at any time for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

You may stop using FlowDash and close your account at any time via the Settings page.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent behaviour, or if we are required to do so by law. In cases of serious violation, termination may occur without prior notice.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on data, liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, FlowDash and its operators are not liable for:

• Any financial loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss
• Interruptions, errors, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when these Terms were last updated.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
